ಅರ್ಥ: ಓ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸೇ, ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ಸಂಹಾರಕನಾದ ಮುರಾರಿಯ (ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯ) ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಕೊಂಡಾಡು.

ಮಂದಿಯ ಮತಿಗೆ ಯೆಂದೆಂದು ಮರುಗದೆ | ಮುಂದಿನ ಗತಿಯನು ನೋಡು 1

ಅರ್ಥ: ಲೋಕದ ಜನರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಮೂರ್ಖ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕೊರಗಬೇಡ; ಬದಲಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪರಮ ಗತಿಯ (ಮೋಕ್ಷದ) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸು.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಾವಿನ ದೂತನಾದ ಯಮಭಟರು ಬಂದು ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ (ಪ್ರಾಣ ಹೋದರೆ), ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಾಳೆಗೆ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಿಡುವರೇ? (ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಮಯವಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸು).

ಅರ್ಥ: ಕಮಲದಂತಹ ಸುಂದರ ಮುಖವುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ (ಲೌಕಿಕ ಮಾಯೆಯ) ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಮರುಳಾಗದೆ, ವಿಜಯವಿಠಲನನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಶರಣಾಗು.
