P: see our ranga, the prince, the lord who took the shape of a lion-man, [and] the son of dEvaki
C1: the one lovingly sitting in the arms of his pround mother, the one whose bells [tied to his ankles] always ring and produce a lovely sound; the one wearing an impressive ear ring [this many not be correct], [and] the one who [in the form of venkatEshwara] grants favours.
C2: the one who is worshipped on Fridays, the one who devours sugar, milk, curds and butter; the one who gave amrita [elixir] to the gods in quick time, the one who is the enemy of all rAshasas, [and] the one who ended the life of rAvaNa.
C3: [let us live by] taking a holy dip in pApavinAshini [the river in tirupati], letting all the sins go away quickly; getting to look at this form [statue of venkatEshwara] day after day, [and] singing the glory of shripati purandaravitala.
