ಇದು ಶ್ರೀ ಧನ್ವಂತರಿಯ ಸ್ತುತಿ. ಭಗವಂತನು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ದೈಹಿಕ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಿ ಮೋಕ್ಷದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಈ ಪದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸಾರಾಂಶ (Summary)

ಅರ್ಥ (Paragraph-wise Meaning)
ಪಲ್ಲವಿ:
ಅಂತರಂಗದ ರೋಗ ಚಿಂತೆ ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿ ಮೋಕ್ಷ
ಪಂಥ ಸಾಧಿಸು ಧನ್ವಂತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಭುವೆ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಎಲೈ ಧನ್ವಂತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಭುವೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಒಳಗಿರುವ ಆತಂಕ, ಚಿಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸು. ನನಗೆ ಮೋಕ್ಷದ ಹಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸು (ಮುಕ್ತಿಯ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸು).
ಚರಣ ೧:
ಸುರರು ಅಸುರರು ಕೂಡಿ ಶರಧಿಯ ಮಥಿಸಲು
ಕರದೊಳಮೃತ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಧರಿಸಿ ನೀ ಬಂದೆ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಹಿಂದೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳು (ಸುರರು) ಮತ್ತು ದಾನವರು (ಅಸುರರು) ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ ಕ್ಷೀರಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಥಿಸಿದಾಗ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೃತದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದಿವ್ಯ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದೆ.
ಚರಣ ೨:
ಇಂದ್ರ ನೀಲಾಂಭ್ರಣಿ ಸನ್ನಿಭರೂಪ
ಚಂದ್ರಮಂಡಲದೊಳು ನಿಂತು ರಾಜಿಸುವಿ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ನಿನ್ನ ರೂಪವು ಇಂದ್ರನೀಲ ಮಣಿಯಂತೆ (ಗಾಢ ನೀಲಿ) ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಚಂದ್ರಮಂಡಲದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶೋಭಾಯಮಾನವಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
ಚರಣ ೩:
ಯೋಷಿತ ರೂಪದಿ ಸುಧೆಯನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು
ಪೋಷಿಸಿದೆಯೋ ಇಂದಿರೇಶ ದಿವಿಜರ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಪತಿಯಾದ (ಇಂದಿರೇಶ) ನೀನು, ಅಸುರರನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಲು ಸುಂದರ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ (ಮೋಹಿನಿ - ಯೋಷಿತ) ರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದೆ.

Meaning: When the Gods (Suras) and the Demons (Asuras) came together to churn the great ocean, you emerged from the waves holding the vessel of immortality (Amrita) in your hands.
Stanza 2:
Indra neelambhrani sannibharoopa
Chandramandaladolu nintu rajisuvi
Meaning: Your divine form possesses the brilliant hue of the blue sapphire (Indra-neela). You stand resplendent and shining, as if positioned in the center of the cooling orb of the moon.
Stanza 3:
Yoshita roopadi sudheyanu kottu
Poshisideyo Indiresha divijara
Meaning: O Lord of Lakshmi (Indiresha), you later assumed the form of a beautiful woman (Mohini) to distribute the nectar to the celestial beings (Divijara), thereby nourishing and protecting them from the demons.
