ಸಾರಾಂಶ (Summary)
ಯಾರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಹರಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನ, ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿನಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ಶರೀರವು ಭಗವಂತನ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿರುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಅವನೇ ನಿಜವಾದ 'ಧನ್ಯ' ಮನುಷ್ಯ. ಅಂತಹ ಪರಮ ಭಕ್ತನನ್ನು ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಪುಣ್ಯದ ಕೆಲಸ. ಗುರು ಮಹಿಪತಿ ದಾಸರ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವನು ಪಾವನನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯ ಸಾರ.
ಅರ್ಥ (Paragraph-wise Meaning)
ಪಲ್ಲವಿ:
ಅವನೆವೆ ಧನ್ಯ ನೋಡಿ ಅವನ ದರುಶನ ಮಾಡಿ
ಅರ್ಥ: ಇಂತಹ ಗುಣವುಳ್ಳವನೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಧನ್ಯ ಪುರುಷ. ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡು ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಮಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. (ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಧನ್ಯರಾಗಿರಿ ಎಂದು ದಾಸರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ).

ಅರ್ಥ: ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯ ಧ್ಯಾನ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ (ಜಿವ್ಹ) ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹರಿನಾಮವು ನಲಿಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಗಳು ಹರಿಯ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ (ಶ್ರವಣ); ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಶರೀರದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಅಂಗವೂ ಭಗವಂತನ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಗ್ನವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಎರಡನೇ ಚರಣ:
ಹರಿಭಕ್ತಿಯೊಳು ಕೂಡಿ | ಹರಿ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯ ಮಾಡಿ
ಹರಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ ತುಳಕಾಡಿ | ಹೊರಳುವ ನಲಿದಾಡಿ
ಅರ್ಥ: ಅವನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹರಿಭಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಳುಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಭಗವಂತನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೇಮವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ (ತುಳಕಾಡಿ). ಆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಆನಂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಮೈಮರೆತು ನಲಿದಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ದೈವಿಕ ಪರವಶತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಮೂವನೇ ಚರಣ:
ತಂದೆ ಮಹಿಪತಿ ದಯಾ ದಿಂದ ಪಡೆದು ವಿಜಯಾ
ಹೊಂದುವ ತಿಳಿದು ನೆಲಿಯಾ ಛಂದವಾದಾ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾಯಾ
ಅರ್ಥ: ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಮಹಿಪತಿ ದಾಸರ ದಯೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇಂತಹ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ವಿಜಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಅಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮದ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು, ಸತ್ಯದ ನೆಲೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಆ ಭಕ್ತನ ಶರೀರವೇ ಒಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ 'ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾಯ'. (ಗುರುಮಹಿಪತಿ ದಾಸರ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ಜೀವನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಯಿತು ಎಂಬುದು ಕೃಷ್ಣದಾಸರ ಭಾವ).

Haridhyana hridayadalli | Harinama jivhadali

Meaning:
Within his heart, there is constant meditation (Dhyana) on Lord Hari.
On his tongue (Jivha), the name of Hari always resides.
His ears are always engaged in listening (Shravana) to the divine stories of the Lord.
Every limb of his body is dedicated to the service (Seve) of the Divine.
Stanza 2:
Haribhaktiyolu kudi | Hari kirtaneyane madi
Hari prema tulakadi | horaluva nalidadi
Meaning:
He is completely united with devotion (Bhakti) to Hari.
He spends his time singing songs of praise (Kirtana) to the Lord.
The love (Prema) for the Divine overflows within him, causing him to dance and roll in spiritual ecstasy and joy.
Stanza 3:
Tande Mahipati daya dinda padedu vijaya
Honduva tilidu neliya chandavada punyakaya
Meaning:
By the grace (Daya) of my father, Mahipati Dasaru, this spiritual victory (Vijaya) was achieved.
Having understood the ultimate truth and found his true resting place in God, his very body has become a beautiful and merit-filled form (Punyakaya).
