ಅರ್ಥ: ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಯ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಶ, ಕೇಶವ, ಮಾಧವ ಎಂದು ಹಲವು ಹೆಸರುಗಳಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವನೇ. ಸಾವಿರಾರು ನಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವನು, ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರನ್ನು (ಭೂಸುರ) ಪಾಲಿಸುವವನು, ದೋಷಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರುವವನು ಮತ್ತು ಶೇಷನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿರುವ ಹರಿಯೇ ನೀನು.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀದೇವಿಯ ರಮಣನೆ, ಯಶೋದೆಯ (ನಂದಗೋಪಿಯ) ಮಗುವೇ, ಮಂದರಗಿರಿ ಎತ್ತಿದ ಗೋವಿಂದನೇ, ಗೋಪಾಲ ಬಾಲನೇ. ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೇ ಮೋಹಿಸುವ ರೂಪದವನೇ, ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ಲೀಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವವನೇ, ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು (ನವನೀತ) ಹಿಡಿದ ಕೃಷ್ಣನೇ, ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ವಿಲಕ್ಷಣನಾದವನೇ.
