ಪಲ್ಲವಿ:
ಹಡಗಿನೋಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಕಡುಮುದ್ದು ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ...
ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಹಡಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗೋಪಿಚಂದನ ಮುದ್ದೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮುದ್ದಾದ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ, ಅವನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ಕಡಗೋಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ. ಅಂತಹ ದೇವಕಿಯ ಸುಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಗದೊಡೆಯನಿಗೆ ಶೋಭಾನೆಯ ಆರತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿರೆ.

ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಸಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣಿನ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಬೊಟ್ಟು ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಸುಂದರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗೆ ಆರತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿ.
