ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ: ಯತಿಗಳ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ರತ್ನದಂತಿರುವವನೇ, ಶಾಂತಮೂರ್ತಿಯಾದ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರೇ, ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರಲ್ಲೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ತಾನೆ ಹೊಗಳಲಿ? (ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಅಷ್ಟು ಅಪಾರವಾದುದು).

ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲನೇ ಅವತಾರದಲ್ಲಿ (ಹನುಮಂತನಾಗಿ) ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನನ್ನು ಅನನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಭಜಿಸಿದಿರಿ. ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು (ಶರಧಿ) ಲೀಲಾಜಾಲವಾಗಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಗೆ (ಕ್ಷಿತಿಜೆ) ರಾಮನ ಮುದ್ರೆ/ಗುರುತನ್ನು (ಅಂಕಿತ) ನೀಡಿದಿರಿ. ರಾವಣನ ಅಶೋಕವನವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತೆಸೆದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತೋರಿದಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶೌರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಟಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ: ಮೂರನೇ ಅವತಾರದಲ್ಲಿ (ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾಗಿ) ಮೂರು ಲೋಕಗಳು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವಂತೆ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿರಿ. ಯತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿದಿರಿ. ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಗೋಲು ಕೃಷ್ಣನನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿದಿರಿ. ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿತಂಡವಾದಗಳನ್ನು (ಪ್ರತಿಮತ) ಸದೆಬಡಿದು ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಿರಿ. ಎಲೈ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಜ್ಞ ಮುನಿಗಳೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ.

In this song, Vyasaraja celebrates the greatness of Lord Vayu across three eras. The peaceful Madhvacharya, the greatest among the community of saints.
Meaning: Vyasaraja addresses Sri Madhvacharya as the supreme leader of all monks and saints. He asks rhetorically, "How can I even begin to describe your glory?" implying that the teacher's greatness is beyond words.
Stanza 1 (The First Incarnation: Hanuman)
In your first incarnation, you worshipped Lord Rama. With great determination, you crossed the vast ocean.
You gave the token of recognition (the ring) to the daughter of the Earth (Sita) and destroyed the garden. I see no equal to your matchless valor.
Meaning: As Hanuman, Vayu served Rama with total devotion. He leaped across the sea to find Sita in Lanka, comforted her with Rama’s ring (Angita), and destroyed Ravana’s Ashoka Vatika (Pudotavannu). The poet declares there is no hero in history who can match Hanuman's strength.
Stanza 2 (The Second Incarnation: Bhima)
In your second incarnation, you met the son of Devaki (Krishna). You crushed the one who lusted after your wife (Keechaka) with your courage.
You killed the opposing Magadha king (Jarasandha) in battle. I find no one in the three worlds to equal you.
Meaning: As Bhimasena, he was the greatest devotee of Krishna. He protected Draupadi’s honor by slaying Keechaka and displayed his legendary strength by defeating the invincible Jarasandha in a wrestling duel. He remains the undisputed champion of power in all three worlds.
Stanza 3 (The Third Incarnation: Madhvacharya)
In your third incarnation, you came to be praised by the three worlds. Becoming an ascetic, you worshipped the Almighty.
You installed Lord Krishna in the great land of Udupi and shattered opposing ideologies. O Purnaprajna, the king among sages!
Meaning: Finally, as Madhvacharya, he took the vows of a Sanyasi to spread spiritual truth. He famously installed the idol of Kadugolu Krishna in Udupi. Using logic and Vedic knowledge, he defeated flawed philosophies (Pratimata) to establish the path of truth. He is addressed here by his title Purnaprajna (the one with complete knowledge).
