ಅಪರೂಪಾಕಾರ   ಅಪಮೃತ್ಯುಪರಿಹಾರ 

ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಲಗ್ಗೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾರಿದೆ ಸಮರ 

ಸೀತೆಗೆ ಉಂಗುರವಿತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದೆ ವಿವರ !೧!

ದಿಕ್ಕೆಟ್ಟು ಕುಳಿತಿರೆ ವಾನರ ಸೈನ್ಯ

ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಹರಿಸಿದೆ ನೀ ಅಸಮಾನ್ಯ

ಮಧುಸೂದನ್ ವೆಂಕಟಾಚಲ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ರಚಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಕೃತಿಯು ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ರಾಮಭಕ್ತ ಹನುಮಂತನ ಶೌರ್ಯ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾಮಿಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವ ಸುಂದರ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹನುಮನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಮೋಚನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಹಾಯಶೂರ ಎಂದು ವರ್ಣಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದವರಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಖಂಡಿತ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ (Meaning )

ಪಲ್ಲವಿ: ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ಮಹಿಮ

ಯಾರಿಹರೋ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮ, ಹನುಮ

ಅಸಹಾಯಶೂರ ಅಪ್ರತಿಮ ಮಹಿಮ !ಪ!

ಅರ್ಥ: ಎಲೈ ಹನುಮಂತನೇ, ಶೌರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮನಾದವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಅಸಹಾಯಶೂರ (ಯಾರ ಸಹಾಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಾಹಸ ಮಾಡುವವನು) ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಅಳೆಯಲಾಗದ್ದು.

ಚರಣ ೧: ಸಂಕಟಮೋಚನ

ಸಮಚಿತ್ತಸುಂದರ ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿಧರ, ಅಪರೂಪಾಕಾರ ಅಪಮೃತ್ಯುಪರಿಹಾರ

ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಲಗ್ಗೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾರಿದೆ ಸಮರ, ಸೀತೆಗೆ ಉಂಗುರವಿತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದೆ ವಿವರ !೧!

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸದಾ ಶಾಂತವಾದ ಸಮಚಿತ್ತವುಳ್ಳವನೇ, ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ತಂದವನೇ, ಅಕಾಲ ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿನ ಭೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವವನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ. ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ಲಗ್ಗೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಯುದ್ಧ ಸಾರಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಮನ ಕುರುಹಾದ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನು ಸೀತೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಭರವಸೆಯ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಚರಣ ೨: ರಾಮದಾಸ ಹನುಮ

ದಿಕ್ಕೆಟ್ಟು ಕುಳಿತಿರೆ ವಾನರ ಸೈನ್ಯ, ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಹರಿಸಿದೆ ನೀ ಅಸಮಾನ್ಯ

ಧೀಮಂತ ಗುಣವಂತ ದಾಸವರೇಣ್ಯ, ರಾಮನಾಮದಿ ಬೆರೆತ ನೀ ಜಗಮಾನ್ಯ !೨!

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಾಗರವನ್ನು ದಾಟಲಾಗದೆ ವಾನರ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ದಾರಿ ಕಾಣದೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಆ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿದ ಅಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವೀರ ನೀನು. ಧೀಮಂತನೂ, ಗುಣವಂತನೂ ಆದ ನೀನು ಹರಿನಾಮದ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಬೆರೆತಿದ್ದೀಯೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ನೀನು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ (ಗೌರವಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ) ದಾಸವರೇಣ್ಯ.

ಚರಣ ೩: ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಕ್ಷೇಮ

ಪವಮಾನನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಪ್ರಭುರಘುರಾಮ, ರಘುರಾಮನ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಪಡೆದಿಹ ಗುರುಪರಮ

"ವೆಂಕಟನಾಥ"ನ ಸಿರಿಪಾದಪದುಮ, ಸಂತತ ಸೇವಿಪರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಕ್ಷೇಮ!೩!

ಅರ್ಥ: ವಾಯುಪುತ್ರನಾದ ಹನುಮನಿಗೆ ರಘುರಾಮನೇ ಪ್ರಾಣ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ರಘುರಾಮನ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವನು ಈ ಹನುಮ. ವೆಂಕಟನಾಥನ ದಿವ್ಯ ಪಾದಕಮಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಈ ಹನುಮಂತನನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾದ ಕ್ಷೇಮ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Dikkeṭṭu kuḷitire vānara sainya...

Meaning: "When the Vanara army sat dejected and lost, unable to cross the sea, you—the extraordinary one—solved the crisis. You are wise (Dhimanta), virtuous (Gunavanta), and the foremost among devotees. Because you are forever immersed in the name of Rama, you are honored by the entire world."

Charana 3: Eternal Protection

Pavamānana prāṇa prabhuraghurāma...

Meaning: "Lord Raghurama is the very life-breath of Hanuman (son of Pavamana); likewise, Hanuman has earned the supreme love of Raghurama. For those who constantly worship the divine lotus feet of 'Venkatanatha' (the Lord), complete well-being and safety are guaranteed through this great Guru, Hanuman."
