🎶 🎶🎶
My father once told me
When the rain falls
Don’t think it will rain forever.
When the sun shines
Don’t think it will shine forever
Life turns like the wheel of a bicycle
Sometimes you’re down, sometimes you’re up
So don’t mock the man who’s struggling today
Tomorrow may be his day
And don’t let today’s hardship steal
Tomorrow’s hope
Because no condition is permanent
Yeah yesterday me walked bare foot
Today me shoe shine bright
Yesterday me sleep hungry
Today me appetite
Life keep turning
Like river to sea
What Jah prepare
Nobody can teach
Don’t lose hope, don’t lose faith
Every season have a place
Stand your ground, hold your line
Jah work in his own time
No condition is permanent
Storm today, sun tomorrow
No condition is permanent
Joy will wash away your sorrow
Hold on strong, don’t let go
Jah already know the road
Who laugh first may cry last
Nothing in this world ever truly last
Money come, money go
Character stay let it show
Never share the poor man
Tomorrow he may hold the line
Easy, easy, everything will change
Easy, easy, nothing stays the same
Trust Jah, oh lord
Keep moving, stay strong
Break it down, give it up
Never laugh at another man’s struggle
The wheel of life never stop turning
Today for me, tomorrow for you
Walk with humility
Help somebody when you can
Because the same hand that gives today
May receive tomorrow
If the night feels long
Morning still coming
If the tears won’t stop
Healing still coming
Everything change, everything move
Jah never fail
Those who believe
Those who believe!
No condition is permanent
Hold your head, heaven send
No condition, last forever
Shine hope, walk together
No condition is permanent
Give thanks and represent
The rivers keep flowing
The wheel keep turning
The sun keep rising
And Jah keeps working.

Music brings hope to many people around the world every day. Talented musician Rocha Maria has come out with a new song called “No condition is permanent.” This track shares a strong message about life and how things can change over time.
the composition credits list the vintage Ghanaian highlife/afrobeat band Marijata as a foundational songwriter and composer, meaning the track adapts or heavily samples their earlier musical work.
absolute original track is an afro-beat/funk masterpiece titled "No Condition Is Permanent" by the vintage Ghanaian band Marijata, released in 1976 on their iconic album This Is Marijata.
While the new reggae version by Rocha Maria uses the "my father once told me..." spoken-word poetry over it, the original 1976 musical composition and underlying arrangement belong entirely to Marijata. The original 1976 song addresses similar themes of global change and human struggle, but features pure 1970s Ghanaian afro-funk instrumentation and different vocal lines.
