ಈ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದಿರಾಜರು ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯ ಅನಂತ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಭಗವಂತನ ದಶಾವತಾರಗಳ ಲೀಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಅವನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ, ಕರುಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಸಲಹುವ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಗುಣಸಂಪನ್ನನಾದ ಭಗವಂತನ ಚರಣಸೇವೆಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, ಅವನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಯಾಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಓ ಕೋದಂಡರಾಮನಾಗಿ ಮೆರೆದ ಭಗವಂತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಲು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ಅದು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ.
ಚರಣ 1:
ಜಲದಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದೆ ಬಲುಗಿರಿಯ ಧರಿಸಿದೆ | ಲಲನೆ ಧರಿತ್ರಿಯ ಪೊರೆದೆ | ಛಲದಿ ಹಿರಣ್ಯಕಶಿಪುವ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದೆ | ಇಳೆಯಾಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದೆ ಬಲಿಯ ಭಂಜಿಸಿದೆ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಮೀನಾಗಿ ಜಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದೆ, ಗೋವರ್ಧನಗಿರಿ ಎತ್ತಿದೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು (ಭೂದೇವಿ) ಕಾಪಾಡಿದೆ, ಹಿರಣ್ಯಕಶಿಪುವನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದೆ, ವಾಮನನಾಗಿ ಬಲಿಯ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದೀಯ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಕರುಣಾಸಾಗರನಾದ ಭಗವಂತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ನನಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸು. ಕಾಮದೇವನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ಸೀತಾಪತಿಯೇ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಶನೇ, ಓ ಹಯವದನನೇ ನನಗೆ ಕರುಣಿಸು.
