ಪಲ್ಲವಿ:
ಹರುಷದಿಂದಲಿ ಕಾಯೋ ಹನುಮಾ... ಹರಿ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮನೆಂಬ ನಿಜವಾದ ಮತಿ ಕೊಡು ಹನುಮಾ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಹಾಲಬಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಅವತಾರವಾದ ಹನುಮಂತನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು. ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಮಧ್ವರಾಯರ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ವಂದಿಸುವೆ. ಶ್ರೀಹರಿಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ (ಹರಿ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮ) ಎಂಬ ಅಚಲವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕರುಣಿಸು ತಂದೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಲಂಘಿಸಿದ ಧೀರ ಹನುಮಂತನೇ, ಧರ್ಮರಾಯನ ತಮ್ಮನಾದ ವ್ರಕೋದರನೇ (ಭೀಮ), ಮಧ್ಯಗೇಹ ಭಟ್ಟರ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಆನಂದತೀರ್ಥರೇ (ಮಧ್ವ)—ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಅವತಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದವನೇ. ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ನಾಮವೆಂಬ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಉಣಬಡಿಸು, ದಯಾಸಾಗರನಾದ ಹನುಮಂತನೇ.

O beautiful Hanuma, who brought the Saugandhika flower to fulfill Draupadi's wish, protect me.
