ಅರ್ಥ: ಎಲೈ ಭಕ್ತರ ಚಿಂತೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವವನೇ, ಮಹಾಮಹಿಮನೇ, ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಂದ ವಂದಿತನಾದವನೇ, ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೊರತೆ? (ಅಂದರೆ ನೀನೇ ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಒಡೆಯ ಎಂದು).
ಚರಣ 1:

ಅರ್ಥ: ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀದೇವಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮದೇವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರ, ಶಿವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗ, ಸಕಲ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿವಾರ. ಇಂತಹ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಪರಿವಾರವಿರುವ ನಿನಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆಯೇ?

ಅರ್ಥ: ಸಕಲ ಲೋಕಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀನೇ ಒಡೆಯನೆಂದು ವೇದ-ಸ್ಮೃತಿಗಳು ಸಾರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಅಖಿಳ ವ್ಯಾಪಕನಾದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುರ-ನರರು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ದೈವ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಿ? ಗುಣನಿಧಿಯೇ, ಗುರುಜಗನ್ನಾಥ ವಿಠಲನೇ, ನಮಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹವಿರಲಿ.

Goddess Vani (Saraswati) is Your elder daughter-in-law, and Bharati Devi is Your younger one. Shiva (Purahara) is Your grandson, and all the gods are Your attendants. With such a divine family, what could You lack?
