ಅರ್ಥ (Meaning Parawise)

ಪಲ್ಲವಿ:

ಸಂಜೀವವರಾಯ ಪೊರೆವುದು | ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಭವ ಭಂಜನ ಭಯಹರ ||

ಅರ್ಥ: ಎಲೈ ಆಂಜನೇಯನೇ, ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಉಳಿಸಿದ 'ಸಂಜೀವವರಾಯ'ನೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು (ಪೊರೆವುದು). ಈ ಸಂಸಾರವೆಂಬ ಹುಟ್ಟು-ಸಾವಿನ ಚಕ್ರವನ್ನು (ಭವ ಭಂಜನ) ತುಂಡರಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸು.

ಚರಣ 1 (ಹನುಮಂತನ ಅವತಾರ):

ಅರ್ಥ: ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನ (ರಘುವರ) ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು (ವಾರಧಿ) ಹಾರಿ ಲಂಕೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸೀತಾಮಾತೆಯನ್ನು (ವೈದೇಹಿ) ಕಂಡು ಅವಳ ಕುಶಲ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಸಂತೈಸಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಕ್ರೂರನಾದ ರಾವಣನ ಲಂಕಾಪುರಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಗಾಹುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದಹಿಸಿದೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಪಾಂಡವ ಕುಲದ ದೀಪದಂತಿರುವವನೇ, ದ್ರೌಪದಿಯ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾದ ನಾಯಕನೇ (ಭೀಮಸೇನ). ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಹಾಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ (ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮ ಮಂಡಲ) ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಪಾಪಿಗಳಾದ ಕೌರವರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ದುಷ್ಟ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಗುರು ನೀನು.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಈ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಕಲಿಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು 'ಆನಂದತೀರ್ಥ' ಅಥವಾ 'ಮುದಮುನಿ' (ಶ್ರೀ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯ) ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಅವತರಿಸಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನೇ (ಶ್ಯಾಮಸುಂದರ) ಪರದೈವ, ಅವನೇ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮ ಎಂದು ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಡಂಗುರವನ್ನು ಮೊಳಗಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ನೀನು.

Meaning: Following the command of Lord Rama (Raghuvara), you leaped across the vast ocean (Varadhi). You reached Mother Sita (Vaidehi), comforted her by enquiring about her wellbeing, and then set fire to the city of the cruel Ravana, reduced it to ashes.

Meaning: You are the light of the Pandava lineage and the beloved leader of Draupadi’s heart. In the fierce circle of the battlefield (Sangrama Mandala), you rose in righteous anger to destroy the sinful kings (Papatmaka Bhupala) who supported adharma. You are our protecting Guru.

Meaning: In this great age of Kali (Kalikala), you took birth with the name of the joyful sage (Mudamuni or Madhvacharya). You traveled across this vast earth, beating the "drum of truth" (Dangura), proclaiming loudly to everyone that Lord Krishna (Shamasundara) is the Supreme Master of all.
