ರಾಜಿಸುವ ಸೋಜಿಗದ ಬಲು ಸೋಜಿಗದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ||
ಅರ್ಥ: ಮೂರು ಲೋಕಗಳಿಗೂ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನೇ, ಭಕ್ತರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಬಾ. ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಭವದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ (ರಾಜಿಸುವ), ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಈ ಭಕ್ತರ ಮನೆಗೆ ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಕಮಲದಂತಹ ಕಣ್ಣುಳ್ಳವಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭೀಷ್ಮಕ ರಾಜನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯಾದ ರುಕ್ಮಿಣಿ ದೇವಿಯು, ನೂರಾರು ಬಗೆಯ ಸುಗಂಧಭರಿತವಾದ ಸುಂದರ ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಮನ್ಮಥನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ (ಮಾರಜನಕ) ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನೇ, ಅವಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಮನ್ಮಥನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿರುವ ರಾಣಿಯು (ರುಕ್ಮಿಣಿ), ಬಹಳ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ವಿಧವಿಧವಾದ ಮುತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತವಾದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಪೀಠವನ್ನು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂದು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಸೀನನಾಗು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರ್ಥ: ಯದುವಂಶದ ಆನಂದಕಾರಕನೇ, ಮಧುರೆಯ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಬಾ. ಮದ್ದಾನೆಯ ನಡಿಗೆಯಂತೆ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಲಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ಬಾ. ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಮುಖವುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಂಗಳಾರತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Meaning: O Shri Krishna, the Sovereign King of all three worlds, your devotees are calling out to You—please come to our home! Come to this house that is radiant, wondrous, and filled with divine surprises, O Lord.

Saarasalochane Bhishmaka kuvari | Nooru vidhada balu parimalada |
Chaaru kusumagala haarava pididu | Maarajanaka ninna koruvalu ||
Meaning: The lotus-eyed daughter of King Bhishmaka (Rukmini) is waiting for You. She holds a garland woven from hundreds of varieties of highly fragrant and beautiful flowers. O father of Manmatha (Maarajanaka), she is pleading with You to grace her home with Your presence.
Charana 2
Chittajanayyana chittada raani | Yatnadi ninnanu karesidalu |
Chitravichitrada muttu ratnagala | Uttama peethake dayamaado ||
Meaning: The Queen of Your heart (Rukmini) is making every effort to bring You here. She has prepared a magnificent throne adorned with a variety of rare pearls and precious gemstones. Please come and take Your seat on this exalted pedestal.
Charana 3
Yadukula nandana nee baaro | Madhura naatha nee baaro |
Madagajagamanadi baaro Prasanna | Vadaneyaraaruti belaguvaru ||
Meaning: O Joy of the Yadu clan, O Lord of Mathura, please come! Walk towards us with the majestic and graceful gait of an elephant. Fair-faced women (the Gopis or attendants) are standing ready with lamps to perform the Aarati and welcome You.
Note: The word "Prasanna" in the final stanza serves a dual purpose. It describes the "pleasant" faces of the devotees and acts as the Ankita Nama (pen name/signature) of the composer, Shri Vidyaprasanna Tirtha.
